The bays along the Alanya yacht tour routes

When you set sail from the marina or from Kaleiçi Harbour, historic shipyards, sea caves and golden beaches appear one after another along a line of roughly 12-15 nautical miles. Below we have gathered the stops where we most often drop anchor on our routes.

Old Shipyard Cove - Alanya yacht tour route

Old Shipyard Cove (Eski Tersane Koyu)

The first stop on the route is often the Seljuk Shipyard dating from 1226. Opening to the sea through its five stone arches, this structure is one of the few surviving shipyards in the Mediterranean, and as our yacht approaches the water the Red Tower and castle walls come into view.

The cove is a favourite for both photos and the first swimming break. On a morning departure the sea is glassy and calm, so the shipyard arches reflect clearly in the water; on daytime trips a long break can be taken here depending on your group's pace.

Cleopatra Bay (Kleopatra Koyu)

Named, according to legend, after the Egyptian queen who came here, Cleopatra Bay is the tour's main swimming break. With its fine golden sand and clear water, it is the best-known spot in the area, so it sits at the centre of most routes.

We usually serve our sit-down lunch in this bay, with the yacht at anchor. Since you choose the menu when you book, a hot lunch prepared by the chef awaits you after your swim; the shallow section and snorkelling here are also ideal for children.

Pirates, Lovers and Phosphorus Caves

Three sea caves line the rocky foot of the peninsula. The Pirates Cave, named after old pirate shelters, the romantically named Lovers Cave and the Phosphorus Cave, which glows as the water reflects light inside, are among the route's most popular stops.

Our yacht eases up to the cave mouths; if the sea is suitable, a short cruise is made. This section is enjoyable for those who want to take photos and cool off, and is usually added to the programme before or after the Cleopatra break.

Around Alanya Castle

The castle walls wrapping the top of the peninsula look most striking when seen from the sea. The walls climbing to about 250 metres and the Red Tower set on the rocks offer a panoramic view from the yacht deck.

In this section we do not drop anchor but circle the peninsula at a slow cruise. We also point the way for those who want to visit the castle and Damlataş Cave by land after the tour; neither is a yacht stop but rather our suggestion for a land excursion after you disembark.

Cleopatra Beach

Stretching along the city's western shore, this long golden beach is the longest stretch of coast viewed from the sea during an Alanya private boat tour. With its clear water and shallow section it is a safe swimming area for families.

Dinek Beach

Lying to the east of the peninsula, Dinek Beach is used for cruising and a second swimming break. It is a stop that can easily be added to the route for groups who want a calmer shore.

Ulaş Bay

Standing out for its turquoise water, Ulaş Bay is an optional stop. It can be skipped on the short four-hour programme, while on five-hour tours it is preferred for a calm closing swim.

Alanya Kaleiçi Harbour

Kaleiçi Harbour, where most of our yachts are moored, is our second departure point. It is the closest departure for guests staying in the centre and around the castle; those on the Mahmutlar–Kestel side set off from the Marina.

A separate full-day route departing from Alanya takes in the Gazipaşa line, where more untouched bays are found. With ancient cities and natural pools, this programme is for those who want to spend a long day at sea.

Gazipaşa Gold Marina

One of the departure points of the full-day Gazipaşa route, this modern marina is easily reached by pickup service from Alanya and is the day's starting stop.

Iotape Ancient City

Set on cliffs overlooking the sea, the ancient city of Iotape (Aydap) is viewed from the yacht deck with its ruins stretching along the water; the small cove on the shore is also suitable for swimming.

Gazipaşa Untouched Bays

Closed to road access and mostly reachable only from the sea, these bays stand out for their clear water and tranquillity. They are the favourite for anyone seeking a day away from the crowds.

Kızılın Beach

With its red rocks and calm cove, Kızılın Beach turns into an ideal break for swimming and snorkelling.

Selinus Ancient City

Located close to the shore, the Selinus ruins offer the chance to view the region's deep history from the sea; it is the route's culture stop.

Koru Beach Natural Pools

With its natural pools formed by the rocks, Koru Beach is a safe swimming area for families and children thanks to its shallow, clear water.

King's Cove (Delik Deniz)

With its natural arch carved by the sea into the rock, King's Cove is the most striking stop on the full-day route. Passing under the arch and the swimming break take place here.

Antiochia Ad Cragum

Set atop steep cliffs, the ancient city is seen from your deck at a distance. With its Roman-era ruins it completes the route's historic silhouette.

The bays along the Okurcalar yacht tour routes

Lying to the west of Alanya, the Okurcalar line offers a different daily route with its broad beaches and the chance to see dolphins on the open sea. This programme runs from its own departure port.

Okurcalar Harbour

The harbour that is the route's departure point sits right beside the broad beaches and is the day's starting stop.

İncekum Beach

Named after its fine sand, İncekum is one of the most popular beaches in the area with its shallow, clear water; the first swimming break is usually taken here.

Open Sea

Okurcalar Beach

Food and drink on the yacht

We usually serve lunch to your table during the Cleopatra Bay break, with the yacht at anchor. You choose the menu when you book: for the main course you can pick meat, chicken or fish, and you can request vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. This is not a crowded buffet but a hot, served lunch prepared specially for your group. Throughout the day tea, coffee, soft drinks and seasonal fruit are served without limit. Alcohol is optional; you can order it in advance or bring your own drinks. It is enough to let us know your special dietary or children's menu needs at the time of booking.

Our regular season runs from late March to November. Each month has a character of its own: spring is quiet and green, summer is lively and hot, and autumn is a calm period when the sea is still warm.

We have two departure points: Alanya Marina and Kaleiçi Harbour. Most of the yachts are moored at Kaleiçi Harbour.
